2024 News at stilwater farms

What a cow!  What a pair!  Elynn and Katie (Miss BBB 2232) have been a force to be reckoned with for the past year.   The Zimmerman family entrusted and supported our little girl and family with one of the coolest heifers I have ever been around.  A big shout out to Big Blue Braunvieh for the pairing on this one.  It has been an honor to haul her across the country this past year.  Katie proved to be the best time and time again all year.  Not only is she a dime piece of a heifer in terms of look, soundness, and high quality.   She has the sweetest disposition and has been the most easy-going girl.  She loves everyone and has worked her way into the hearts of every member of the family.  I believe I heard the words out of Eddie, "she may be my favorite heifer we have ever hauled."
I make this post a little sad because Katie has retired from her show career this week.  As everyone who has formed a bond with a show heifer before knows it is a little bittersweet.  Elynn, Eddie and I have all been in tears this week not wanting to quit hauling her.  However, look for more things to come as Katie is off to have babies and be a real cow.  I cannot wait to see her as a momma.
